Australian Trade Floors grew out of a decade of contract installation work across the Central Coast, Newcastle, the Hunter and Sydney. What began as subcontract labour for retail shops and project builders has become a full service flooring company delivering preparation, supply and installation across residential, commercial and new build projects.

That background shapes how the business runs. Our teams came up through volume building programs and commercial fitouts, where scheduling, documentation and consistency matter as much as the finish itself. We carry that standard into every project, whether it is a single home or a staged development.

Preparation is where we set ourselves apart. Diamond grinding, self levelling and moisture mitigation are handled in house before a single board is laid, because the substrate determines whether a floor performs for a decade or fails within the year.

Australian Trade Floors delivers floor preparation, floorcoverings and coatings as a single, accountable scope. Most flooring failures trace back to a substrate that was never properly assessed. We treat preparation as the first stage of every installation rather than an optional extra, and we price it into the quote from the outset.

Our installation background is in volume residential construction and commercial fitout, where programme, documentation and consistency are non-negotiable. That discipline carries into every job we take on, from a single-room renovation to a staged multi-lot release.

Clients deal with one contractor across the full scope. Scheduling, site coordination, progress reporting and handover are managed in house, with a written workmanship warranty on every installation. Family-owned, locally based, and transparent on pricing.
